Causes of breathing difficulties during pregnancy

Causes of breathing difficulties during pregnancy

Every woman will go through a stage of pregnancy and childbirth. During the pregnancy stage, women have a very hard time and often have problems of one kind or another. Many women, especially those who are pregnant for the first time, often experience difficulty breathing, which often causes certain anxiety or even fear to pregnant women. In fact, don’t be nervous. There are reasons why pregnant women have difficulty breathing.

The reasons why pregnant women have difficulty breathing are 1. Enlarged uterus. During pregnancy, the uterus continues to grow and takes up more and more space, which puts more pressure on the diaphragm and causes difficulty breathing. 2. Increased progesterone levels can also accelerate breathing. 3. The increase in oxygen demand in the body forces pregnant women to breathe faster. 4. The increase in hormones during pregnancy, especially the increase in progesterone (also known as progesterone), can directly affect the lungs of pregnant women and stimulate the respiratory center in the brain.

Suggestions: Keep your upper body straight, shoulders back, lungs expanded as much as possible, and back straight when standing or sitting. Using a few more pillows to raise your body when sleeping at night may make pregnant women feel better.

In hot and humid seasons, try not to stay in places with poor air circulation for too long, as you will feel difficulty breathing and suffocation. You should avoid crowded public places and go outside more often to breathe fresh air. If you feel uncomfortable when lying on your back, you can raise the pillow and lie in a half-position or side-lying position.

In addition, pregnant women should pay attention to wearing light and loose bras, underwear and outerwear, and avoid eating too much at each meal.

For some expectant mothers, although carrying a baby is a very hard thing, they will still endure this pain happily. For pregnant mothers, if they want to reduce physical pain and ensure comfortable breathing, they only need to pay more attention to the above methods.
