Causes of Candida albicans vaginitis

Vaginitis is a very common disease. This disease has a great impact on the vagina. If you suffer from vaginitis, you must seek timely treatment, otherwise it will have a great impact on women's fertility. Many women will have this disease when they are pregnant. When treating, you must choose the treatment method according to the doctor's advice so that the body will not be affected. What are the causes of Candida albicans vaginitis?

Causes of Candida albicans vaginitis:

The main cause of the disease is vaginal flora imbalance. It can also be seen through sexual contact, contaminated clothing and utensils, and unsterilized sanitary napkins, toilet paper, and panty liners.

There are many types of mold, the most important of which is Candida albicans. 80% to 90% of fungal vaginal infections are caused by Candida albicans, and the rest are caused by other Candida and Torulopsis. Therefore, fungal vaginitis is actually Candida vaginitis or vaginal candidiasis. Candida albicans is oval in shape, with pseudohyphae formed by budding spores and cell germination. The pseudohyphae are connected to the spores to form branches or chains.

Candida is usually a putrefactive parasite that can live in the skin, mucous membranes, digestive tract or other organs of the normal human body, and exists in the vagina and is often asymptomatic. When vaginal glycogen increases, acidity rises, or when the body's resistance decreases, it can become a cause of disease. Long-term use of broad-spectrum antibiotics and corticosteroids can greatly increase fungal infections. Because the above two drugs can cause imbalance of the body's flora, change the mutual restraint relationship between microorganisms in the vagina, and reduce the ability to resist infection.

In addition, vitamin deficiency (vitamin B complex), severe infectious diseases, and other wasting diseases can all serve as favorable conditions for the growth of Candida albicans. During pregnancy, the glycogen content of vaginal epithelial cells increases, the acidity of the vagina increases, and the renal glucose threshold of pregnant women decreases. Gestational diabetes is common, and the sugar content in urine increases, which promotes the growth and reproduction of Candida albicans.

After understanding the cause of Candida albicans vaginitis, the treatment of Candida albicans vaginitis should be carried out according to the cause of the disease. However, it should be noted that during the treatment of Candida albicans vaginitis, patients cannot have sexual life and should choose simple food to help improve the disease.
