Areola folds

Areola folds

For women, having healthy breasts is like having a second beautiful face, which is both precious and cherished. The breast can be divided into the breast body, teat, nipple and teat in terms of appearance. Many people sometimes find that their nipples become wrinkled and worry that they have breast disease. So does this condition belong to breast disease?

The nipple is a ring of darker pigmented skin around the nipple. We can see that the skin of the nipple has hair and gland ducts. The glandular ducts contain sebaceous glands, epithelial glands and mammary glands. Among them, the sebaceous glands are called areolar glands, which are some obvious protruding nodules on the nipple, which are used to secrete plant oil and protect the tender nipples and nipples. Generally, the wrinkled nipple is a normal secretion of the areola gland in the body. When women take off their underwear and their breasts are exposed to cold or are stimulated by touching them with their hands, the nipple will wrinkle, which is not the occurrence of breast disease.

The skin on the nipples and other parts of the nipples of breastfeeding women is relatively dry and sensitive, which can easily cause damage and infection. If your nipples become wrinkled and painful during breastfeeding, it may be caused by nipple inflammation or nipple cracking. If this happens, you must go to the hospital immediately and receive corresponding treatment according to the doctor's advice.

When women reach menopause, their breasts will gradually become smaller. At this time, you will notice that the color of your nipples has turned dark brown and often appear wrinkled. If there is no pain or other discomfort around the nipples, this is normal. This happens as women age and age.

Because the prevalence of breast diseases has been increasing in recent years, it is recommended that everyone learn to examine their breasts on a daily basis and go to the hospital for breast screening regularly. In daily life, we should maintain a stable mood, exercise outdoors frequently, avoid excessive stress due to work, and ensure a reasonable diet. We should not eat foods containing too much estrogen. As long as we maintain physical and mental health, many diseases will not easily invade our bodies.
