Many female friends who are pregnant will be relatively weak during pregnancy, and they do not arrange their sleep time properly, which can easily put great pressure on their bodies. For example, pregnant women may experience dizziness. This phenomenon generally has serious consequences for women's bodies. So how should we deal with and treat it? Dizziness is a common symptom in pregnant women. In mild cases, the head feels heavy and the feet feel light-headed, and walking is unstable; in severe cases, black spots appear in front of the eyes and there is sudden fainting. There are many reasons why pregnant women feel dizzy, often caused by a variety of diseases. ● Insufficient blood supply and low blood pressure Pregnant women often suffer from insufficient blood supply and cerebral ischemia. These pregnant women usually faint when they stand up suddenly or take the elevator. In the early and middle stages of pregnancy, blood pressure will drop to a certain extent due to the formation of the placenta. For pregnant women with pre-existing hypertension, the drop in blood pressure will be even greater. When blood pressure drops, blood flow to the brain will decrease, causing insufficient blood supply to the brain, cerebral ischemia and hypoxia, and thus causing dizziness. This temporary lack of blood supply to the brain usually returns to normal by the seventh month of pregnancy. ● Pregnant women who eat too little and have low blood sugar sometimes experience dizziness, accompanied by palpitations, fatigue, and cold sweats, which usually occur when they eat less. Eating less can cause low blood sugar levels, which can lead to physical discomfort. This type of pregnant woman should eat more milk, eggs and other foods for breakfast, and carry some milk candy with her. Once dizziness occurs, eating candy immediately can relieve the dizziness. ● Improper body position compresses blood vessels. Pregnant women of this type usually experience dizziness when they are lying on their backs or sitting on the sofa watching TV. The dizziness of this type of pregnant women is caused by supine syndrome, which is caused by the enlarged uterus compressing the inferior vena cava in the late pregnancy, resulting in reduced blood supply to the heart and brain. Dizziness can be prevented by simply avoiding lying on your back or sitting in a semi-reclining position. If dizziness occurs, lie on your side immediately. In addition, anemia is also a cause of dizziness in pregnant women. Pregnant women should usually consume iron-rich foods, such as animal blood, pork liver, lean meat, etc. If pregnant women experience dizziness and headaches in their daily lives, they should seek timely treatment to prevent the occurrence of certain diseases due to the severity of the condition, especially as it has a great impact on the fetus in the womb. It is recommended that they arrange their sleep time reasonably. |
