What exactly does women’s vaginal discharge mean?

Some of you may be unfamiliar with vaginal discharge and don't understand what it means or what it represents. In fact, it refers to a liquid secreted by the female reproductive system, mainly the vagina, also called "leucorrhea". Everyone is familiar with leucorrhea, as if every girl has it, but you don't know that its other scientific name is vaginal discharge.

The vagina of a normal woman will secrete this secretion. Normal secretions can generally protect the vagina and resist the invasion of external bacteria. The more vaginal epithelial cells there are, the cleaner the leucorrhea is, and the more vaginal white blood cells there are, the more inflammation there is. Generally speaking, most of the leucorrhea secreted from the vagina will flow out naturally during normal times and bowel movements. The leucorrhea that flows out during normal times will stick to the underwear, and the leucorrhea that flows out during bowel movements will be excreted with urine. Only a small amount remains stuck to the vaginal wall. Therefore, women's vaginal secretions generally refer to leucorrhea.

What is female vaginal secretion? Generally speaking, leucorrhea contains lactobacillus, lysozyme and antibodies, so it has the effect of inhibiting bacterial growth. During sexual intercourse, the amount of leucorrhea will increase, which will lubricate the vagina and facilitate sexual intercourse. Generally, the amount of leucorrhea increases during the middle of the menstrual period and becomes thin and transparent; after ovulation, the leucorrhea becomes thick, turbid and less in quantity. There is an increase in leucorrhea before menstruation and during pregnancy. Non-primate mammals appear during estrus.

If you want to understand more thoroughly what female secretions are, you can go to a nearby hospital and ask the doctor in detail. Do not avoid seeing a doctor. If you feel uncomfortable or don't understand something about your body, go to the hospital for consultation and treatment in time. At the very least, you must be responsible for yourself before you can be responsible for others.
