Signs and precautions of women's premenopause

Menopause is something every woman goes through. Menopause refers to the decline of ovarian function and the cessation of menstruation. Menopause can be divided into natural menopause and artificial menopause. Many women will experience symptoms such as infrequent menstruation, sudden menopause, and menstrual cycle disorders, and may even experience a significant decline in ovarian function until menstruation stops, causing great harm to women's physical and mental health. Many people don’t know much about it. Below I will give you a detailed introduction to the signs and precautions of women’s premenopause.

sign:

1. Menstrual cycle disorder: This is the main manifestation of premenopausal symptoms. The normal menstrual cycle changes to irregular vaginal bleeding, sometimes the menstrual period is prolonged or becomes continuous vaginal bleeding, which lasts for more than 1-2 months. Heavy vaginal bleeding may also occur, and the patient may develop anemia, sallow complexion, general fatigue, palpitations, and shortness of breath.

In severe cases, hemoglobin may be significantly reduced. Some women have repeated bleeding, but generally after 1-2 years, menstruation stops completely. At this time, the doctor should conduct a detailed examination, first excluding bleeding caused by tumors. For women over 40 years old, a comprehensive examination or endometrial biopsy should be performed.

2. Infrequent menstruation: The interval between menstrual cycles is long, from the normal 20-30 days to once every 2-3 months or even longer. The menstrual flow may be normal or less than before, and the interval between menstruation gradually increases to 4-5 months or half a year, and then stops completely.

3. Sudden menopause: A small number of women have had normal menstrual cycles and periods in the past, but now suddenly experience menopause; others have normal cycles, with only a few periods where the amount of menstruation gradually decreases, and then the menstruation suddenly stops.

4. Hot flashes: 75%-85% of menopausal women experience hot flashes, but only 10%-20% have severe symptoms that cause great pain. The time of occurrence and the time relationship between menopause are also very inconsistent. It usually starts during the menopausal transition period and can last for a period of varying lengths after menopause. In addition, stress, smoking, drinking, eating and drinking beverages containing stimulants, spicy foods, and high room temperature may aggravate the symptoms of hot flashes.

Note:

1. Wear multiple layers of clothing, preferably cotton. If you get hot flashes, take off your outer clothing. Also, drink a glass of cool water or cold juice when a hot flash starts.

2. Wear cotton pajamas and keep the bedroom cool. Put extra sheets on your bed. When hot flashes occur, wet the top sheet and remove it.

3. Pay attention to your diet, don’t drink alcohol or eat spicy food.

4. Keep exercising. Some women find that regular exercise can lessen the effects of hot flashes and help them sleep better.

5. Eat more tofu. Beans contain a substance from the same family as estrogen that may help relieve symptoms like hot flashes. You can also drink cool soy milk when hot flashes start.

6. Be patient. The symptom of menopause is "the rabbit's tail - it won't grow longer". It will gradually disappear within 3-5 years at most.

The above has introduced in detail the symptoms of premenopause in women. I believe everyone has some understanding of it. Women may experience some gynecological diseases during menopause. Therefore, once women find symptoms of menopause, they should go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time. Make your body get better faster and devote yourself better to work and life.
