How many days of menstruation are considered normal?

Menstruation is a sign of our sexual maturity as women. Every woman needs a lot of relationships when she has her period. The menstrual period is not fixed, and the amount of menstrual blood each time cannot be fixed. So how long should the menstrual cycle be? If the menstrual cycle is too long, it must be abnormal. How many days of menstruation are considered normal? What should I do if my menstruation is irregular?

A woman's menstrual period lasts about 2 to 5 days. The general pattern of menstruation is that there is not much menstrual blood on the first day, but it increases on the second and third days, and then gradually decreases until the menstrual blood stops. This is because the endometrium just begins to shed on the first day, and on the second and third days, the shedding of the endometrium increases, the amount of bleeding also increases, the uterus is stimulated, the contraction increases, and a large amount of menstrual blood is discharged. For some people, after their menstrual blood has stopped, it comes back a day or two later. This is commonly known as "menstrual bleeding comes back". This is not a disease but a normal phenomenon. However, some women's menstrual period lasts for 10 to 20 days, with continuous menstruation; some women's menstrual period is very short and passes in a flash. Both phenomena are abnormal. The amount of menstrual flow varies from woman to woman, generally ranging from 20 to 100 ml. It is normal to change sanitary napkins or paper 3 to 5 times a day. If the amount of menstrual blood is too much, the sanitary napkin or paper will become wet again soon after changing it, or even flow down the legs, which is abnormal.

If your menstruation is irregular, you can choose to go to a regular hospital for examination, but it should be noted that you must choose a regular hospital, and only professional doctors can truly help you. Nowadays, many women do not pay attention to their menstruation, which causes great damage to their bodies. Therefore, when your menstruation is abnormal, you must go to the hospital for examination in time.
