What is the surgical procedure for breast fibroids?

People in today's society suffer from many diseases, and many of these diseases are caused by the fact that they are too angry and their liver qi is not smooth. There was a patient like this not long ago! She has breast fibroadenoma. Now more and more women are suffering from this disease. I believe women should pay attention to this issue. Surgery is necessary. Before the surgery, you should know something about it so that you and your family members will have an idea. So what is the surgical process for breast fibroadenoma?

① Traditional open resection: The design of the surgical incision should take into account both aesthetic and functional needs. If breastfeeding is required, a radial incision centered on the nipple should be made. If the patient does not need to breastfeed in the future, an arc-shaped incision can be made along the edge of the areola. If the disease is multiple, an incision can be made at the junction of the lower edge of the breast and the chest wall or along the areola. During surgery, it is best to remove the entire tumor and some of the normal breast tissue around it, or to perform a segmental resection of the affected part of the breast to avoid recurrence. Every additional recurrence increases the risk of malignant transformation.

However, if the same tumor occurs again in the breast other than the removed tumor, or in the contralateral breast after surgery, it should not be considered a recurrence. Strictly speaking, it should be considered a multiple incidence. The reappearance of this tumor in the original site is considered a recurrence, and repeated recurrences should alert you to the possibility of a phyllodes tumor. Disadvantages: This procedure will leave scars on the breast, affecting the appearance, and cannot completely remove multiple tumors in multiple quadrants of the breast.

②Minimally invasive surgical excision: a hole (about 3mm) is made in a hidden place such as the armpit or areola, and the tumor is excised with a rotary cutting needle under the guidance of ultrasound or molybdenum target. It is less painful and only leaves a scar of about 3mm after the operation. Recovery is fast, no hospitalization is required, and no stitches need to be removed. Moreover, multiple tumors can be removed at the same time through one incision. This surgery is particularly suitable for patients with multiple tumors or tiny tumors that cannot be felt clinically. The technical advantage of minimally invasive excision is that biopsy and pathological examination can be performed under B-ultrasound positioning for lumps of unknown nature, and even 3 mm tiny tumors can be accurately removed. This is undoubtedly a very good method for the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

Disadvantages: high cost, cannot guarantee complete removal of tumors close to the nipple, skin, or breast edge, and prone to residues. Guidance: For breast fibroids smaller than 3cm, it is recommended to use oral and topical methods to treat them (Pingxiao tablets can be taken orally + Chinese medicine Breast Ankang can be used externally) to avoid delaying treatment. For fibroids larger than 3CM, it is recommended to use surgical resection + postoperative use of Chinese medicine to prevent recurrence.

This is the surgical process for breast fibroids. I hope that patients with this disease will understand and master it. Patients with this disease hope that you can receive emergency treatment and do not delay the deterioration of the disease. Do not let your family members worry about it. In fact, the current medical conditions are very good. It is not terrible to have a disease as long as we understand it. Especially women should not be too angry, which is very bad for their health. They should be more open-minded. I hope that women with this disease will get better soon and be happy every day.
