The door suction is mainly used to suck the door. When the door is open, it can fix the door. So what is the matter with the door suction not sucking the door? Let's take a closer look!

The reasons and solutions for the door suction not being able to suck

Here we mainly introduce two types of door suction, namely floor suction and wall suction.

⒈Install the ground suction

Reason: Most of the reasons why floor suction cannot hold the door is mainly because the distance between the door leaf and the ground is too high. Generally, the height should be controlled within 1.5 cm.

Phenomenon: When opening the door, the door cannot be fixed to the ground suction position, and the door will be pushed directly to the wall, causing the lock handle to touch the wall.

Solution: ① Raise the base of the floor suction or lower the bottom of the door leaf, but this method has a short service life and is not beautiful. ② Replace the flat floor suction with a vertical floor suction, which will increase the height of the suction head to a certain extent and naturally solve the problem.

⒉Install wall suction

Generally, when a wall suction has no suction, it is mostly because of asymmetric installation and poor suction of the door suction itself. Here we mainly introduce the problem of asymmetric installation. As for the poor suction of the door suction, you can replace it.

Reason: The suction head and suction cap of the door suction are not symmetrical. Simply put, the magnet is not aligned with the center of the iron.

Phenomenon: When the door is opened to the strong suction position, it cannot be fixed or needs to be touched gently to have a little suction, otherwise the door will automatically bounce open.

Solution 1: ① First remove the suction cap on the door leaf. ② Attach the suction cap to the suction head. ③ Open the door to the suction cap position and use a pencil to mark the position where the suction cap is fixed on the door leaf. ④ Then remove the suction cap from the suction head and fix it on the door leaf. ⑤ After installation, the suction head and suction cap installed in this way will never be misaligned and will naturally have suction.

Solution 2: Replace the door suction with one with the magnet exposed on the suction head. This type of door suction has good suction force at any angle and is easier to install than the suction problem, without the need for positioning and drawing circles.

Summary: No matter how cheap the door suction cups are on the market, there is basically no problem with the suction power, and the problem is not that bad. If there is no suction power after the door suction cups are installed, 99% of the time it is an installation problem.

How to choose high-quality door stopper

1. The main frame of the door catch should be an integrated structure as much as possible. This type of door catch is not easy to become disconnected or damaged and has high strength.

2. The thickness of the main frame material should be more than 1.0mm as much as possible. The thickness of the main frame of this kind of door stopper is equivalent to "flesh", not "pure leather"; the main frames of cheap stainless steel door stoppers on the market are all "pure leather".

3. If the main frame is not integral, it is recommended that the material thickness be above 2.0 mm, as this thickness is more stress-resistant and durable.

4. Some cheap door catches look good but are not practical. Some of the main frames are made of plastic, and screw rods are used in the middle to support the force. In fact, the surrounding decorative materials are all plastic.

Door stopper installation precautions

⒈ If you are installing a wall suction, it is recommended to install the suction head on the wall first, and then install the suction cap on the door leaf in the corresponding circle.

⒉ If there is no solid wall behind the door, it is not recommended to install a wall suction. You can consider installing a floor suction. Otherwise, even if it is installed, the service life will be very short or it will be unusable.

⒊ When installing the ground suction, try to drive the expansion tube into the ground, so that the ground suction is more powerful and the door leaf will not often collide with the ground suction, causing the ground suction to be pulled up.
