Effects of pelvic effusion on pregnancy

I believe everyone is familiar with the disease of pelvic effusion. Pelvic effusion is a common gynecological disease. The occurrence of pelvic effusion can easily cause many troubles to patients. Therefore, we recommend that female friends should do a good job in preventing pelvic effusion in daily life. Once the symptoms of pelvic effusion appear, we must seek treatment in time. Some female friends want to know whether pelvic effusion will affect pregnancy. Let us give you a detailed analysis below.

Some normal women will have a small amount of blood accumulate in the pelvic cavity during menstruation or ovulation, forming pelvic effusion. Such pelvic effusion is sometimes a good thing, which proves that the woman's fallopian tube is unobstructed and there is exudation in the fallopian tube. If the umbrella end is unobstructed, a small amount of exudate will flow into the pelvic cavity, thus forming physiological pelvic effusion.

However, in clinical practice, pelvic effusion in most women is caused by inflammation, which is the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvis. If not treated, it can gradually grow. If it is too large, it cannot be easily eliminated by medication and surgery is required.

Pathological gynecological pelvic effusion is mostly caused by pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis or endometriosis. The causes of pelvic inflammatory disease and adnexitis are often related to the patient's bad hygiene habits, such as having sexual intercourse during menstruation, within one month after childbirth, taking a bath within one month after gynecological surgery, etc. Medical-induced infection caused by improper disinfection during artificial abortion and induced labor can also cause pelvic effusion. If there are chronic infection lesions, it may be caused by inflammation of the gynecological system such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes in the pelvic cavity, causing pelvic effusion. It may also be caused by tuberculosis or tumors. In a few cases, it is caused by ectopic pregnancy rupture, corpus luteum rupture, pelvic abscess, chocolate cyst, and ovarian cancer.

Pelvic effusion

If the pregnancy is unexpected, you must be prepared for treatment. If it is a small amount of physiological pelvic effusion, you can have a normal pregnancy. The specific treatment method needs to be arranged after examination and targeted treatment plan. If there is a lot of pelvic fluid accumulation and the condition is serious, it will affect the development of the fetus, which requires gynecological surgery. You can get pregnant again after the treatment.

In the above article, we introduced a common gynecological disease, that is, pelvic effusion. We know that pelvic effusion is very harmful, so female friends must do a good job of preventing pelvic effusion in their daily lives.
