What causes bleeding after period

When women have their periods, they may experience various symptoms or problems, some milder and some more severe, and each problem is different. There are many reasons for postmenstrual bleeding. Why does bleeding occur after the menstrual period has ended? If you still have bleeding after your period, you must pay attention to it. What is the problem of bleeding after period?

Postmenstrual bleeding is a common gynecological disease. Modern medicine believes that the disease is caused by insufficient estrogen levels. It is treated with low-dose estrogen replacement therapy. Although it has short-term effects, the long-term effects are poor and it is prone to relapse.

Ovulation bleeding, also known as mid-menstrual bleeding or intermenstrual bleeding, refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain. Clinical manifestations of this disease: (1) Uterine bleeding: Ovulatory uterine bleeding occurs during the menstrual cycle with ovulation. The amount of bleeding is small, and sometimes only brown discharge is present. It usually stops on its own within 2-3 days, and the longest time is 7 days.

Sometimes it resembles menstruation and is mistakenly believed to be having two periods in a month. (2) Abdominal pain: Periodic pain between menstruation. The pain can be very mild or severe, usually lasting for several hours. In some patients, it can last for 2-3 days. (3) Infertility: It may be caused by cessation of sexual intercourse due to ovulation bleeding, thus missing the opportunity for conception.

The menstrual cycle refers to the time interval between two menstrual periods, which is from the first day of menstruation to the first day of the next menstruation, and is called a cycle. Most women have a menstrual cycle of about 28-30 days. The menstrual cycle consists of the menstrual phase, follicular phase, ovulation phase and luteal phase. The ovulation period is in the middle of the menstrual cycle. The method of calculating the ovulation period is to subtract 14 days from the number of days in the menstrual cycle. Women during their ovulation period are passionate, happy, smart and energetic. The ovulation period is called the "intermenstrual period" in traditional Chinese medicine, also known as the mist period (when the smoke and clouds are everywhere). It is the transformation period from yin to yang. Yin blood is the foundation. Only when the yin essence is abundant and the essence turns into qi can yin be transformed into yang. The main pathogenesis of ovulation bleeding is yin deficiency and internal heat. Deficiency of kidney yin and internal movement of yang qi damage the yin meridians, causing Chong and Ren meridians to become unstable and lead to bleeding. Treatment should focus on nourishing kidney yin and clearing away deficiency heat.
