How to take medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets 2mg

Medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets are estrogen, and their main function is to regulate the body's endocrine system. If the estrogen level is low, medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets are generally used. Their function is to imitate the uterus and ovaries to secrete estrogen. Under normal circumstances, the secretion of estrogen by the uterus and ovaries will be within a certain range and normal, and the menstrual period will be normal. If the secreted female hormone is low and not within this range, it can be supplemented by exogenous drugs. So, what is the method of taking 2mg medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets?

If you use medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets to induce menstruation, the dosage is generally selected according to the time of taking the medicine. If you start using it after ovulation, you can choose the dosage and take it continuously for at least ten days. If the medication is taken for a short time, a larger dosage is required, but it is not recommended to take ten tablets at a time.

Medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets are taken orally, 100 mg at a time (50 tablets, 2 mg per tablet), 3 times a day, or 500 mg (250 tablets) orally, 1 to 2 times a day, as a maintenance dose after intramuscular injection.

This drug should be prohibited or used with caution in patients with liver and kidney dysfunction, cerebral infarction, urethral bleeding, myocardial infarction and thrombophlebitis.
