What are the benefits of anal lifting for women

Pelvic floor disorders seriously trouble women's lives. Take stress urinary incontinence as an example. It is a common social problem that seriously affects the quality of life of patients. "The incidence of stress urinary incontinence among Chinese women is much higher than that of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. But very few women really pay attention to this issue," said Zhu Lan, professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

After urinary incontinence occurs, urine will leak out involuntarily if you sneeze, cough, or even walk quickly. Some women are too embarrassed to travel far or participate in other social activities. There are many factors that contribute to the high incidence of pelvic floor diseases in women. The first is aging, especially after menopause, when about half of women will be affected. Secondly, pregnancy and childbirth can also cause trauma to the pelvic floor. "Therefore, women should pay special attention to the prevention and treatment of urinary incontinence during pregnancy, childbirth and menopause throughout their lives," Zhu Lan emphasized. Zhu Lan pointed out that doing two things can effectively prevent urinary incontinence.

First, develop good living habits, such as squatting to urinate, not holding urine, and choosing sanitary napkins with cotton mesh.

Second, cultivate the awareness of exercising the pelvic floor muscles as early as possible. The method is very simple. Every morning before getting up and every night after going to bed, lie flat on your back and do 50-100 anal lifting exercises, which are similar to the feeling of interrupting urination and tightening the anus.

If you continue to exercise actively within one year after giving birth, 30%-60% of pelvic floor problems caused by childbirth can heal themselves; those with more serious problems can also be significantly relieved and improved. "In addition, exercising the pelvic floor muscles is also helpful in improving the quality of life of couples," said Zhu Lan. She suggested that every woman should exercise her pelvic floor muscles, which is convenient, simple and easy to stick to.

Zhu Lan's schedule is packed, but she always makes people feel full of energy. What's the secret? Zhu Lan smiled and told reporters: "I try to live a regular life. In addition to exercising, I have a comprehensive physical examination every year, including cervical smear cancer screening. This is something most women can do."
