How to wear a bra without hurting your body

Once upon a time, bras, a woman’s best friend, turned into a health “killer”. For this reason, countries that advocate freedom, such as France and the United States, have also launched initiatives to throw away bras.

"The reason why bras have become women's 'special favorite' is that, on the one hand, they prevent breast sagging; on the other hand, they are necessary for body fitness." A breast specialist said, "But unfortunately, more and more women are hurting their breasts because of uncomfortable bras. It can be said that bras have become one of the important causes of breast diseases."

Most modern women have misconceptions about wearing bras: inappropriate size will cause long-term pressure on the breasts and poor blood circulation; when wearing a bra, the habit of supporting the lower breast will destroy its natural state and affect the metabolic function; choosing a bra with an underwire will block the lymphatic return area; only paying attention to the beautiful image without paying attention to the material will cause the breasts to be in a closed space all year round and unable to breathe fresh air.

"Don't be careless. As time goes by, these will become the 'fuse' of breast diseases such as breast hyperplasia, mastitis and even breast cancer, causing unimaginable harm to women." Therefore, Xu Hong suggested that the following principles should be followed when wearing a bra.

First of all, you should not wear a bra for too long, no more than 8 hours a day, and you should not sleep with it on. When you have nothing to do, you can do more chest expansion exercises or raise your upper limbs to promote blood circulation. Secondly, choose cotton. Bras made of chemical fibers can easily cause skin allergies and have poor breathability.

When people move, the bra will constantly rub the nipples. The fiber filaments in the bra can easily enter the mammary glands through the nipple holes. Over time, it will block the mammary glands and nipples and induce breast diseases.

Again, choose a loose bra, preferably one size larger than your breasts. Wearing a bra that is too small and too tight for a long time will affect local blood and lymph circulation and induce various breast diseases. Finally, different age groups choose bras that are more suitable for them.

It is best not to wear bras during puberty because sagging breasts are unlikely to occur at this time. It is recommended to wear bras after the age of 18. For women with larger breasts, the bra straps should be wider, otherwise the support for the shoulders will be uneven, which will increase the burden on the shoulders and back, and in the long run will cause back pain or sagging breasts. You must wear a bra during breastfeeding because women's breasts will generally be swollen and prone to sagging due to breastfeeding. Wearing a bra is a very important part of maintaining your body shape. Fourth, after the age of 50, avoid wearing a bra with steel or fiber support to prevent providing a breeding ground for breast diseases.
