Regular uterine contractions but no water breaking or spotting

Many pregnant mothers are both hopeful and nervous about the day when their baby is about to arrive. After searching for relevant information, they will find out that pregnant mothers will experience regular uterine contractions, spotting during pregnancy, and rupture of amniotic fluid before giving birth. Uterine contractions don't necessarily involve pain and bleeding. Every pregnant woman will have irregular uterine contractions in the second trimester, but some people are more sensitive, while others are not sensitive and do not feel it. The pain in the abdomen usually lasts for 30 seconds and is separated by 10 minutes. After that, the pain duration gradually increases and the time interval decreases, which is called regular uterine contractions.

1. Regular uterine contractions but no amniotic fluid rupture and spotting during pregnancy

Regular uterine contractions but no amniotic fluid rupture and spotting are common in late pregnancy. Regular uterine contractions refer to regular and gradually increasing uterine contractions, which usually last for 30 seconds or more, with an intermittent period of 5 to 6 minutes. In addition, they are accompanied by the idiopathic effacement of the cervical canal, dilation of the cervical os and lowering of the presenting part, and uterine contractions that cannot be suppressed by strong sedatives. Bloody sight during pregnancy is when uterine contractions separate the fetal membrane from the uterine wall, and a small amount of blood and cervical mucus mix and discharge into the vagina. Normal rupture of amniotic fluid occurs when periodic uterine contractions dilate the cervix, causing the amniotic fluid to rupture under the impact of the intrauterine pressure and the lowering of the fetal presenting part, and the amniotic fluid of the pregnant woman is discharged.

2. Signs of Production

1. Spotting during pregnancy

24-48 hours before delivery, you may find that mucus mixed with blood is discharged from the vagina. The color of the blood may be brown, light pink, or red. The bleeding is generally less than normal menstruation and thicker. This is pregnancy spotting! If you experience pregnancy spotting, you need to go to the hospital immediately for delivery, because pregnancy spotting usually occurs within 24 hours before the onset of pain, but some people experience pregnancy spotting 1 week before delivery or earlier! Pregnancy spotting is mainly due to the expansion of the lower segment of the uterus and the cervix, the separation of the surrounding fetal membrane and the endometrium, the rupture of the capillaries and bleeding, which mixes with the mucus in the cervix to produce bloody mucous secretions. However, if there is a lot of vaginal bleeding and it exceeds the menstrual flow, it should not be a sign of labor. It may be bleeding at the end of pregnancy caused by placenta previa, placental abruption, etc.

2. Broken water

As the uterus contracts vigorously, the pressure in the uterus gradually increases, the cervix expands, and the fetal head continues to descend, which will cause the amniotic fluid to rupture and discharge! When the amniotic fluid is discharged, you can feel the warm liquid discharge from the vagina, and you cannot control the discharge of the amniotic fluid like controlling urine! Generally, after the amniotic fluid ruptures, it is similar to giving birth, so you must rush to the hospital immediately!

3. Pain

Regular uterine contractions, or pain, are the most important sign before childbirth. False contractions are intermittent and last for a short period of time, but the pain is felt in the entire abdomen. It lasts for about 30 seconds and will occur repeatedly every ten minutes! And as childbirth approaches, the pain time gradually lengthens and the interval decreases. The pain will cause the cervical opening to continue to dilate!
