Pre-pregnancy check

Before women want to get pregnant, they need to make preparations in many aspects, so that they know what to do best after pregnancy. It is very important for women to regulate their bodies before pregnancy. For some women with poor physical constitution, they need comprehensive nutritional supplements, so that they can withstand physical changes after pregnancy and enable the fetus to develop healthily. What are the pre-pregnancy examinations?

Women must undergo a physical examination before becoming pregnant, so that they can have a good understanding of their physical condition and discover problems in time when they arise. But what are the examinations before pregnancy? Many people do not know about it.

Pre-pregnancy check-up items:

1. Reproductive system: Routine screening of leucorrhea for Trichomonas, fungal, mycoplasma and chlamydia infections, vaginitis, as well as sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea and syphilis. If you have any gynecological diseases, such as sexually transmitted diseases, it is best to treat them thoroughly before getting pregnant, otherwise it may cause risks such as miscarriage and premature birth. This is a normal vaginal discharge test and most women will not feel anything, but relaxing during the test can make you less sensitive.

2. Gynecological endocrinology: including 6 items such as follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, etc. Mainly diagnose ovarian diseases such as irregular menstruation.

3. Urinalysis: It helps in the early diagnosis of kidney disease. The 10-month pregnancy is a huge test for the mother's kidney system. The increased metabolism of the body will increase the burden on the kidneys.

4. Complete set of teratogenic tests: including rubella, toxoplasmosis and cytomegalovirus. 60% to 70% of women will be infected with the rubella virus. Once infected, especially in the first three months of pregnancy, it can cause miscarriage and fetal malformations. The test is done by drawing blood from a vein.

5. Liver function: There are currently two types of liver function tests: major and minor functions. In addition to the full set of hepatitis B tests, the major liver function test also includes blood sugar, bile acid and other items. If the mother is a hepatitis patient, pregnancy may result in consequences such as premature birth of the fetus, and the hepatitis virus can also be directly transmitted to the child.

Through the above introduction, we have some understanding of what the pre-pregnancy check-up items are. When women are examined, the above are all necessary to check, and active cooperation is also required during the examination process. This will be of great help to the results of the examination and will prevent other problems from arising from the examination results.
