What to do if you are pregnant and HPV positive

We all know that one of the things women fear most during pregnancy is finding out that they have gynecological diseases after pregnancy, because some gynecological diseases will have a great impact on the fetus when a woman is pregnant. At this time, women need to make a choice between treating the disease and preserving the fetus. A common gynecological disease is HPV. So what should a woman do if she finds out that she is HPV positive when she is pregnant?

HPV positive refers to the judgment standard for human papillomavirus. HPV positive means that HPV virus infection has been found through testing. HPV is a DNA virus and humans are the host of HPV. After HPV enters the skin and mucous membranes of the body, it mainly lurks between the basal cells in the epidermis, and once the time is right it will cause disease. So far, scientists have discovered more than 60 subtypes of it, and different subtypes cause different diseases.

After the HPV virus infects the human body, there will be an incubation period. The clinical incubation period varies in length, estimated to be 2 weeks to 8 months, with an average of about 3 months. There are three types of infection: overt infection, subclinical infection and latent infection. When genital warts first occur, the typical symptoms are small light red papules, which will gradually increase in size and number, becoming papilloma-like, cauliflower-like, cockscomb-like or mushroom-like growths with an uneven surface and soft texture.

If HPV is positive after pregnancy, it is recommended to terminate the pregnancy first and receive timely treatment. The relevant content of the treatment is introduced as follows:

Genetically engineered targeted cell therapy, also known as cell therapy technology in biological immunotherapy, is currently internationally recognized as one of the most promising therapeutic technologies. This technology can effectively slow down and prevent the spread of HPV and HSV viruses, and eliminate the life-threatening diseases caused by HPV viruses such as genital warts and cervical cancer from within. It enables a considerable number of patients with genital warts and cervical cancer to achieve their treatment goals in a short period of time.
