Light bleeding outside of menstrual period

Light bleeding outside of menstrual period

When girls enter puberty, their first menstruation will soon come. This is a manifestation of the second characteristic, so we must learn more about it in our daily lives. If you do not pay attention to your daily diet during menstruation, it can easily cause certain effects on your body, especially your endocrine system may be disordered, so pay more attention to it in your daily life. Bleeding outside of your period is abnormal and should be detected promptly.

If you notice non-menstrual bleeding, you should think about what you have done recently or what foods you have eaten that are harmful to your body, and you should pay more attention to changes in your body. This condition often occurs in middle-aged women, most likely due to menopause.

Ovulatory uterine bleeding occurs when the follicle ruptures during ovulation, which causes a temporary drop in estrogen levels and the endometrium loses hormonal support, resulting in partial shedding and bleeding. It often occurs on the 12th to 16th day of the menstrual cycle, which is the ovulation period. The amount of bleeding is not much. Some people only have a small amount of brown secretion. It usually lasts for half a day or 2 to 3 days, and no more than 7 days at most. It may be accompanied by mild ovulation pain and back pain, and a small amount of non-menstrual bleeding.

Neonatal vaginal bleeding A small number of baby girls will experience vaginal bleeding similar to menstruation after birth. This is due to the proliferation of the endometrium in the female fetus under the influence of placental estrogen. After birth, due to the interruption of estrogen supply from the mother, hormonal withdrawal shedding bleeding may occur in the endometrium. This bleeding usually stops on its own after a few days and does not require treatment.

Postmenopausal uterine bleeding In recent years, the rate of uterine bleeding has increased due to the increasing number of women receiving postmenopausal estrogen and progesterone replacement therapy. In addition, for a small number of women, although the amount of estrogen secreted by the ovaries decreases after menopause, the small amount of estrogen secreted by the adrenal glands gradually accumulates and can cause the endometrium to grow and lead to uterine bleeding.

For women of childbearing age who have sex, if they experience non-menstrual vaginal bleeding, they should first rule out pregnancy-related diseases. This is why women who have missed their menstrual period and have vaginal bleeding go to the hospital for treatment, and the doctor often asks them to do a urine test for pregnancy reaction. Common ones include miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy (also known as ectopic pregnancy), hydatidiform mole, etc.

The miscarriage is caused by normal menstrual cycle, amenorrhea after the due period, accompanied by pregnancy reactions such as nausea and vomiting, more or less vaginal bleeding, and some patients have back pain and paroxysmal lower abdominal pain.

Mole with small amount of bleeding outside of menstruation will cause amenorrhea and severe pregnancy reaction, followed by irregular vaginal bleeding. Women who have had hydatidiform mole may have improved after treatment and their menstruation has returned to normal, but if they experience abnormal, heavy vaginal bleeding again within two years, it may be an early symptom of malignant hydatidiform mole and they should seek medical attention as soon as possible without delaying diagnosis.

The above introduces the situation of non-menstrual bleeding. We should pay more attention to not eating some spicy foods and reduce intense exercise. If you experience bleeding, you should take good care of your body. Avoid overwork in daily life. If symptoms persist and cannot be relieved, you should go to the hospital for a physical examination and listen to the doctor's advice for treatment to avoid delaying the disease.
