Endocrine is especially important to women, just like water is to fish. If a woman's endocrine system is out of balance, it can cause symptoms such as insomnia, dreaminess, irregular menstruation, skin aging, various breast diseases, and infertility. Therefore, in order to timely treat endocrine diseases and prevent the disease from deteriorating, endocrine examinations should be performed every six months. So, what does gynecological endocrinology test examine? Gynecological endocrine examinations need to check the following six items: follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), both secreted by the pituitary gland, mainly promote uterine development and ovulation. When the reference value is too high, it may be due to amenorrhea or infertility; prolactin (PRL), secreted by the pituitary gland, when it is too high, it may be a pituitary tumor or low thyroid hormone; estradiol (E2), secreted by the uterus and ovaries, high estrogen levels may be the main manifestation of uterine and ovarian tumors or pregnancy, slightly lower levels may be due to other reasons such as incomplete development of sex hormones or uterine and ovarian decline; estrogen (P) is secreted by the uterus and ovaries, and too low levels indicate that the pituitary gland and ovaries are not high; testosterone (T) is also secreted by the uterus and ovaries. When it is too high, it may be due to polycystic ovary syndrome or chromosomal abnormalities. Among the six gynecological endocrine tests, when doing testosterone test, estrogen test, female hormone test, and egg conversion hormone test, 2 ml of venous blood cells need to be extracted and tested after the blood cells are separated. Progesterone is secreted in a pulsed manner, so when collecting progesterone samples, it is best to collect 3-4 times within 1 hour and mix the blood before testing. The blood test time for estrogen should be between the 22nd and 24th day of the menstrual cycle, and the blood test time for the other five items should be between the 2nd and 4th day of the menstrual cycle. The price of gynecological endocrine examination is generally around 3,100 yuan, and the actual price depends on the region and the hospital where the examination is conducted. The prices in different regions are different. The price of physical examination in a general and reliable hospital is not very expensive. If it is a private hospital or a specialist clinic, the price will be relatively higher. |
