Four common treatments for adnexitis

Four common treatments for adnexitis

A woman's uterus is a very important reproductive organ, and its accessory tissues such as the fallopian tubes and ovaries, although they are called uterine appendages, play a very important role in the reproductive process. If the appendages become inflamed, such as fallopian tubes becoming blocked due to inflammation, it will cause reproductive difficulties. Whether adnexitis is treated well or not has a great impact on women's reproductive function.

The treatment of adnexitis includes many items, the more common ones are salpingitis, oophoritis, etc. These inflammations are usually accompanied by pelvic inflammation, which is usually caused by the invasion of pathogenic bacteria. Once adnexitis occurs, there will often be some complications.

There are two clinical manifestations of adnexitis: acute adnexitis and chronic adnexitis. The following treatments are usually used:

1. Drug therapy

(1) For vaginal medication, Gong Meixiu Gel is more effective.

(2) Antibiotic treatment

For patients with obvious symptoms, antibiotics should be used as the first choice for treatment. Antibiotics can kill any remaining pathogenic bacteria and prevent acute attacks. Commonly used drugs are still penicillin, gentamicin, metronidazole, etc., and the usage is the same as that for acute salpingo-oophoritis and pelvic peritonitis.

(3) Intrauterine injection can be performed for fallopian tube obstruction caused by chronic salpingitis.

2. Tissue therapy

Such as placental tissue fluid and placental globulin, intramuscular injection, once a day or every other day, 15 times as a course of treatment.

3. Physical therapy

Commonly used physical therapies include short wave, ultrashort wave, infrared, audio, ion penetration, etc. However, do not use physical therapy if the body temperature exceeds 37.5℃ or if you have genital tuberculosis.

4. Surgery

Larger hydrosalpinx or tubo-ovarian cysts caused by inflammation can be treated surgically. For those who are infertile due to fallopian tube obstruction, fallopian tube repair surgery can be performed.

If adnexitis is not treated in time, it can easily become a chronic disease. Over time, it may cause fallopian tube occlusion. Many ectopic pregnancies or infertility are caused by adnexitis. If a woman's own resistance is reduced, it can easily cause inflammation. Therefore, female friends should exercise regularly to improve their own defense capabilities.
