Picture of gestational sac falling during pregnancy

The gestational sac is the initial test tube embryonic tissue, the initial form of pregnancy, and a substance belonging to uterine pregnancy. At that time, the fetus has not yet been born. Infection during pregnancy can cause the fetal sac to be underdeveloped and unable to develop normally, causing the fetal sac to drop down, and eventually leading to miscarriage. How can we understand the fetal sac dropping down? Do you feel it?

Can you feel the fetal sac falling down?

When the fetal sac falls by itself, this is considered a spontaneous abortion. In the early stages of pregnancy, there will be mild pain in the lower abdomen, bleeding in the vagina, and a feeling of something being cleared. If you observe carefully, you will find a milky white, transparent ring-shaped substance. If it is a medical abortion, the abdominal pain will be more severe, there will be a tearing sensation, and a lot of blood clots will appear, but you can still feel the fetal sac being discharged.

How to judge whether the fetal sac has already fallen down

1. The fetal sac is usually light pink. If it can be fully discharged, it should be ring-shaped. The blood clot is dark red and easy to break apart.

2. When the fetal sac is discharged, you can feel a mass of something being cleared. If you are not sure whether it is the fetal sac or a blood clot, put it in water. The fetal sac will not sink under the water, but the blood clot will sink under the water.

3. If you really can't tell whether the fetal sac is clear, you can consider going to the hospital for an ultrasound to confirm it.

Can you feel the gestational sac falling down? Generally, you can feel a mass of something being removed when the gestational sac falls down. It is a milky white, transparent, ring-shaped substance. If you observe carefully, you can find that there is a difference between the gestational sac and the blood mass. If you are worried that the gestational sac has not been completely cleared, or if there are any residues, you can go to the hospital for a check-up to see whether the gestational sac has been expelled from the body, so don't worry too much.
