Is high-grade cervical intraepithelial lesion serious?

Some women may find that the squamous epithelial cells on the surface of the cervix may be diseased after cervical cancer screening, so they need to go to the hospital for further cervical puncture biopsy. Based on cervical puncture biopsy, we can accurately determine whether a girl has cervical cancer. Cervical puncture biopsy is a method of taking a living tissue portion of the cervix for examination. This type of examination is very accurate and the results are very reliable. It is currently the main test method used to determine whether a woman has cervical cancer.

High-grade intraepithelial lesions in cervical puncture biopsy, in other words, lesions occurred in the squamous epithelial cells of the cervix, which is one of the signs of cervical cancer. In simple terms, if the cervical biopsy is high-grade epithelial cell lesions, it means that you have cervical precancerous lesions, which should cause us women to pay full attention. If it is not treated well at this stage, it will gradually develop into cervical cancer. If high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is not treated, it will develop into cervical cancer within 5 to 10 years.

If a woman goes to the hospital for a cervical puncture biopsy and is found to have high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions, she should receive appropriate treatment. If the patient with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions does not have obvious symptoms, she can generally be 100% cured after effective treatment. High-grade epithelial cell endothelial disease does not mean that you have cervical cancer. It is just that the cervical lesions are in the early stage. At this time, we should adopt active treatment methods, carry out HPV antiviral treatment, and perform surgical treatment when necessary.

Many women have chronic cervicitis. Because many women have chronic cervicitis without special symptoms, we don't notice it until we go to the hospital for examination and find that the inflammation is already serious and the squamous epithelial cells of the cervix have reached a high level of epithelial endothelial lesions. In daily life, we must observe our bodies at any time. If we have symptoms of genital itching or vaginal bleeding, we should go to the hospital immediately to check our cervix. It is best for patients with chronic cervicitis to have a TCT examination every six months.

It is not the most terrible thing to find that you have high-grade epithelial endothelial disease during a biopsy. As long as we get effective treatment, it will not develop into more serious diseases such as cervical cancer. The actual treatment of high-grade epithelial endothelial disease should be carried out under the specific guidance of a physician.
