Compared with general situations, when both or one of the couple has the following conditions, they should pay more attention to pre-pregnancy check-ups and put them into practice.

(1) Age ＞35 years old.

(2) One or both spouses has a family history of hereditary diseases or infectious diseases.

(3) Women have a history of adverse birth outcomes such as recurrent miscarriage, dystocia, stillbirth, or birth of a mentally retarded child.

(4) One or both spouses are exposed to toxic or hazardous substances, such as radioactive materials, pesticides, etc., in their work or daily life.

(5) One or both spouses have bad living habits, such as alcoholism, drug addiction, long-term smoking, picky eating, etc.

(6) One or both spouses have not been vaccinated against hepatitis B.

(7) Keeping pets at home. Many families like to keep pets, but in fact pets may carry a variety of bacteria and parasites.
