How many days of missed menstruation to test pregnancy

Once menstruation is delayed, many women who have had sexual life will worry whether they have become pregnant unexpectedly. For women who are preparing for pregnancy, pregnancy is a very happy thing. The absence of menstruation means whether a woman is pregnant. So, how many days without menstruation means that she is pregnant, and how many days without menstruation can she test for pregnancy?

I got pregnant after not having my period for a few days.

Missing your period doesn't necessarily mean you're pregnant. There are many reasons for delayed menstruation. If your period is relatively regular and your cycle is relatively normal, but your period is delayed for more than 7 days, you may be pregnant. Under normal circumstances, it takes 6 to 8 days for the embryo to implant. If you have sex after ovulation and do not take any contraceptive measures, you can test whether you are pregnant within 7 to 10 days after your period is delayed.

Generally speaking, it is normal for menstruation to be delayed or advanced by one week. If menstruation is amnesia for more than 10 days, the possibility of pregnancy should be considered. If menstruation is amnesia for more than 2 months, the possibility of pregnancy is even greater.

After the menstrual period is delayed for 10 days, women can use early pregnancy test strips to check whether they are pregnant. If the pregnancy test paper is positive, there is a high probability of pregnancy, and if the pregnancy test paper is negative, the opposite is true. Some women worry that delayed menstruation is a sign of menstrual disease. If menstruation is delayed only 1-2 times and there are no other accompanying symptoms, it does not fall into the category of menstrual disorders. When the interval between menstrual cycles is more than 35 days, it is called oligomenorrhea, and the cessation of menstruation for more than 3 menstrual cycles is called amenorrhea. Since there is no ovulation after menopause, it may also cause problems such as osteoporosis and endometrial hyperplasia, so it is necessary to pay attention to it.

In addition, there are two specific conditions that can also cause delayed menstruation. One is endocrine imbalance after long-term use of emergency contraception, which can also lead to delayed menstruation or even amenorrhea. Second, intrauterine surgical treatment causes cervical adhesions, leading to menstrual blood stasis, which in turn delays menstruation. Although a 7-day delay in menstruation is generally not considered pregnancy, if a woman's menstruation is 7 days late and she also has pregnancy symptoms, then the possibility of pregnancy is very high.
