Ningxia Science Lecture Hall--How much do you know about food testing?

On May 30, 2024, the Ningxia Food Safety Association and Yinchuan Smart Food Safety Inspection and Testing Center (Co., Ltd.) jointly organized a "Food Testing Laboratory Open Day" science event. The visitors of this event were teachers and students from the Agricultural Products Storage and Processing Major of Ningxia Agricultural School. This event aims to promote the understanding of the latest developments in the food inspection and testing industry by teachers and students, strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, and jointly promote the close integration of education and practice in the field of food safety.

During the event, the staff led the teachers and students to visit the key testing rooms of the testing center and the various equipment used in the food inspection and testing process. At the same time, the technicians explained to the students the complete process of food inspection and testing and the strict regulations for safety management of the testing room. In particular, when everyone saw a series of large-scale precision testing instruments, they showed great interest and actively asked questions to understand the working principles and application scenarios of these advanced equipment. The staff patiently and meticulously answered every question, which not only popularized professional knowledge, but also stimulated the students' strong interest in food inspection technology.

During the visit, teachers and students not only witnessed the rigorous work attitude and the spirit of excellence of the inspectors, but also experienced the modern testing equipment and scientific testing process of the testing center. This intuitive and practical learning method has given students a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of food inspection technology. Teachers and students said that this visit and study was fruitful, which not only broadened their horizons and increased their knowledge, but also inspired their enthusiasm and confidence in future work in food inspection.
