How long does it take to fly during pregnancy?

Pregnancy is a very difficult thing, but work is also a very important thing for women. Nowadays, many women have their own jobs. They have to take care of their families, children and work at the same time. They often have to travel between two places for work. As a means of transportation, the airport is sometimes encountered. So, how many months of pregnancy can you take a plane?

How many months pregnant can you fly?

Pregnant women in the second trimester (13-32 weeks) are in a relatively stable stage and their mental outlook is also relatively good. At this stage, morning sickness has long passed and the risk of miscarriage is low. Pregnant women, as long as they are in good health, can travel by plane like other tourists. To prevent any accidents from happening, pregnant women are advised to consult their obstetricians and gynecologists for advice, undergo various examinations during pregnancy, and carry their physical examination reports with them.

Why pregnant women are not suitable for flying

First of all, pregnant women in the early and late stages of pregnancy are not suitable for flying, because they are easily affected by the standard air pressure difference during takeoff and landing, overweight and weightlessness, and the shaking of the aircraft during high-altitude cyclones, which may make the pregnant mother and the fetus feel uncomfortable; secondly, pregnant women with the following conditions are not suitable for flying.

1. Pregnant women have a history of spontaneous abortion, premature birth, incomplete cervical closure, or lower limb venous obstruction; have threatened abortion, ectopic pregnancy, congenital uterine abnormalities or abnormal placental position, or severe early pregnancy reactions; have multiple births; have threatened labor; have medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, severe anemia, shortness of breath, epilepsy, phlebitis, motion sickness, etc.

2. Pregnant women who get pregnant through assisted reproductive technology such as artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization should not take a plane because the fetus is too precious.

After the introduction of the above content, I believe everyone has a certain understanding of how many months of pregnancy pregnant women can take the plane. Generally speaking, pregnant women can take the plane in the middle and late stages of pregnancy. However, the plane is flying in the air after all. If you are not feeling well or have never tried to take a plane, you should be cautious. It would be great if you could consider changing your transportation.
