Kidney problems? Don’t eat these 3 types of food!

Kidney problems? Don’t eat these 3 types of food!

1. Processed meat

Processed meats are well known and loved by many people, such as bacon, ham, luncheon meat, sausage, bacon, etc. However, the high salt content in processed meats can damage the kidneys. If you want to eat meat, the best choice is some fresh white meat such as chicken and fish, or red meat such as beef, pork, and lamb. Eggs and milk are also high-quality sources of protein.

2. Fried Foods

Fried foods usually contain trans fatty acids, pigments, and leavening agents. Long-term consumption of foods containing trans fatty acids may increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and diabetes. The accumulation of aluminum in pigments and leavening agents will have adverse effects on health. In addition, fried foods are prone to produce carcinogens during the high-temperature heating process, and the damage to the body caused by long-term consumption should not be underestimated. Therefore, even if fried foods are delicious, it is recommended that people with poor kidney health should not eat too much to prevent accelerated kidney function decline.

3. Low sodium salt

A low-salt diet is the most basic and important part of the dietary management of chronic kidney disease. A low-salt diet means "low sodium", so the word "low sodium" in "low sodium salt" directly hits the pain point of many people, but low sodium salt is not suitable for many kidney patients.
