Female throat bulge

Female throat bulge

There are huge differences in the body structure between men and women, which is also very obvious in the throat. Men's throats often have Adam's apples, which look convex, while women's throats are relatively flat. But some women

I have a bulge in my throat, what's going on? If the girl is in adolescence, she should pay attention to endocrine disorders. Of course, some of them are also due to the fact that the woman is thin.

1. Girls get pregnant due to endocrine disorders

Some girls suffer from laryngeal protrusion due to endocrine disorders. The sex hormone in women is estrogen, which is stimulated in men in very small amounts. If the ovaries are not functioning properly or if there are problems with endocrine glands such as the pituitary or adrenal glands, the level of androgen in the body will increase. And masculinization such as laryngeal protrusion and thickening of the voice occurs. Performance, at the same time, certain characteristics of women should not change significantly. It can be seen that if a girl suffers from Adam's apple caused by endocrine disorders, the problem of girls suffering from protruding throat can be improved by adjusting the endocrine disorders.

2. The girl has laryngeal cancer due to heredity

In addition to endocrine disorders, it may also be caused by genetics. The reason is simple. The characteristics of growth and development of the previous generation are passed on to the next generation. If a father has a particularly large throat, it may be passed on to his daughter, causing her throat to protrude. This is a normal physiological phenomenon, so don't panic.

3. Girls have knots because they are too thin

Simply put, the larynx refers to the cartilaginous protrusions in the human throat. The human larynx is made up of 11 pieces of cartilage that serve as a scaffold. The most important piece is called the thyroid cartilage. The fact is, we all have throats, whether men or women. At 2 months, the intestine begins to develop and continues to grow every year until 5 to 6 years after birth. However, during puberty, starting at age 5, the growth of laryngeal cartilage essentially stops. So, boys and girls, their thyroid cartilage is the same size.

After entering puberty, due to changes in human body secretions, the secretion of male androgen increases, secondary sexual characteristics gradually appear, and the thyroid cartilage gradually expands and protrudes forward. In women, due to the increase in the level of estrogen secreted by the ovaries, the female secondary sexual characteristic, the thyroid cartilage, will also increase, but the growth rate is relatively slow, so the female throat is generally not prominent. However, some women appear to be just bones because they are so thin that their throats stick out particularly well.
