It serves patients through appropriate traditional Chinese medicine technologies such as ear holographic therapy, moxibustion, acupoint plastering, wrist-ankle acupuncture, and press needles, giving full play to the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine therapies, helping patients relieve pain and helping them recover as soon as possible. Holographic Scraping for Ears Ear holographic scraping is guided by the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine and ear holographic biological theory. Through special copper scraping instruments and corresponding techniques, a certain medium is dipped and scraped on the ear and its surrounding areas to dredge the internal organs and meridians, regulate the qi and blood functions of the internal organs, promote the body's yin and yang balance, and achieve the treatment goal. Perioperative indications: sleep disorders, anxiety Contraindications: 1. People with contact skin infectious diseases; 2. People with bleeding tendency; 3. People with severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, liver and kidney dysfunction; 4. Pregnant women and those during menstruation should be careful when scraping; 5. People who are sensitive to or intolerant of pain. Moxibustion Moxibustion is a treatment method that uses moxa sticks and moxa cones made of moxa wool, which generate heat to stimulate the acupuncture points or affected areas of the human body after being ignited, thereby stimulating the activity of meridian qi to achieve the purpose of preventing and curing diseases. Perioperative indications: harmonizing qi and blood, reducing swelling and dispersing nodules, promoting wound healing, and maintaining health Contraindications: 1. Patients with high fever, excess heat, yin deficiency and internal heat; 2. Extremely weak patients; 3. The abdomen and lumbar sacral area of pregnant women. Acupoint application Acupoint application is an acupoint stimulation method that, under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory, makes certain Chinese medicines into powders, mixes them with a medium, and applies them to the corresponding acupoints of the human body, using the stimulating effect of the drugs on the acupoints to treat diseases. The projects currently being carried out in our department include: constipation patches, abdominal bloating patches, and hemostatic patches. Wrist-ankle acupuncture Wrist-ankle acupuncture is a method of treating diseases by performing shallow subcutaneous puncture along the longitudinal axis of the limb using acupuncture needles at specific acupuncture points on the wrist and ankle. Perioperative indications: postoperative pain, pain during dressing changes Contraindications: 1. People with bleeding tendency or scars; 2. People with local infection; 3. People with bone damage or muscle atrophy. Press needle Pressing needle is a type of intradermal needle, which belongs to the floating needling and shallow needling in traditional acupuncture. It is a treatment method based on meridian theory and mainly stimulates the skin of the twelve meridians. Perioperative indications: regulating the spleen and stomach, abdominal distension, nausea and vomiting. Contraindications: 1. People with damaged skin, scars, and severe edema; 2. People with bleeding tendency; 3. People who are allergic to metal or adhesive tape; 4. The abdomen and lumbar region of pregnant women. On the basis of Western medicine surgery, our department integrates appropriate Chinese medicine techniques throughout the perioperative period, accelerates the recovery of patients after surgery, and reduces the occurrence of postoperative complications, which has been well received by patients and their families in the ward.
