Oranges are delicious and juicy in autumn, sweet and sour. Oranges are one of the most common fruits in our lives, but do you know why it is said that oranges are treasures all over?

The picture comes from the Internet. If there is any infringement, please contact us to delete it.

Next, let's learn about the various parts of oranges. The first is the "green peel". What is "green peel"? It is the outer skin of the orange fruit or young fruit that has not yet fully matured. It is named "green peel" because of its green color. Although it is just the orange peel, it is very useful because it tastes a bit bitter and has the wonderful effect of soothing the liver and breaking up qi, dispersing knots and eliminating phlegm. The effect of "green peel" is slightly stronger than that of "tangerine peel", so it is also used to treat diseases such as chest and flank distension, stomach distension, hernia, food accumulation, breast swelling or lumps caused by liver depression and qi stagnation.

"Chenpi" is mentioned above, what is "Chenpi"? It is the dried tangerine peel. The smell of "Chenpi" is the same as "Qingpi". It also has the functions of regulating qi and strengthening spleen, drying dampness and resolving phlegm, relieving cough and relieving adverse reactions. It can also treat abdominal distension and pain, poor appetite, nausea and vomiting, warm qi, loose stools and diarrhea, cold cough and other symptoms. When harvesting tangerine peel, the red outer skin is called tangerine red, and the white inner skin is called tangerine white after drying and moistening, which is used to harmonize the stomach and eliminate dampness.

Next is the orange flesh. Orange flesh is sweet and cool, and has the effects of appetizing, regulating qi, relieving cough and moistening the lungs, sobering up and refreshing the mind. It can also treat vomiting, loss of appetite, dry mouth, lung heat and cough, and other symptoms. It is rich in vitamin B1 and vitamin P, and can assist in the treatment of hyperlipidemia, arteriosclerosis and various cardiovascular diseases. The "nomilin" substance in it also has obvious anti-pain effects, which can prevent and treat gastric cancer.

The orange core is also a good medicine. It can disperse qi stagnation and relieve pain. It plays an important role in treating testicular pain, headache due to qi syndrome, swelling and pain in the breast lumps and lower back pain.

The last thing is orange peel. As the name suggests, it is the white network of tendons on the orange flesh. Surprisingly, it also has medical effects. Orange peel has the effects of promoting qi and unblocking meridians, resolving phlegm and relieving cough. It is mainly used to treat chest pain caused by phlegm in the meridians, cough and sputum, or blood in the sputum.

Of course, you can't eat too many oranges. Here are the hazards of eating too many oranges: Oranges contain a lot of nutrients such as vitamin C, citric acid and glucose. If eaten properly, they can benefit the body. Especially for patients with chronic hepatitis and hypertension, eating more tangerines can improve the liver's detoxification function, accelerate cholesterol conversion, prevent arteriosclerosis, and increase appetite. But if eaten improperly, it will be useless, because when too much vitamin C is consumed, the oxalic acid metabolism in the human body will increase, which can easily cause urinary stones, kidney stones and other stone diseases. The right amount of edible oil from oranges promotes digestion, prevents colds, and improves constipation. However, oranges are warm in nature. If you eat too much, you will easily get angry, and symptoms such as mouth sores, dry mouth, dry throat, and constipation will occur. If children eat a lot of oranges and take in too much vitamin C and carotene, they will have adverse reactions such as indigestion, vomiting, lack of appetite, and general fatigue. A large amount of carotene cannot be converted in time in the child's liver, and will be deposited everywhere with the blood, causing adverse reactions in the body.

The above is the medical value and harm of oranges. After listening to my introduction, do you understand the benefits and harms of oranges?
