The risk of disability accompanies each of us.

Disability prevention and personal health, family happiness,

Social development is closely related.

June 2017,

State Council formally approved

August 25th of each year will be established as "Disability Prevention Day".

What is disability prevention?

Disability prevention refers to taking various effective measures to prevent, control or delay the occurrence of disability based on understanding the causes of disability.

"People with disabilities are also members of the big family of society, they are equal, and they are an important force in the development of human civilization." Caring for people with disabilities is one of the hallmarks of a modern civilized society. This care is not only reflected in assistance, but also in prevention.

Most disabilities are preventable and controllable, especially now that advanced medical technology has provided a lot of technical support for disability prevention. In recent years, the effect of preventing and controlling disabilities has also been very impressive. The so-called "preventing illness before it occurs" and "preventing illness before it occurs" means that we must not only do a good job in preventing disabilities, but also let more people establish awareness of disability prevention, starting with physical examinations and healthy living. In fact, the risk of disability will neither be alienated by youth and vitality, nor will it escape due to old age and frailty. Congenital disabilities in infancy, infectious disabilities during the growth stage, and traumatic disabilities at work do not allow us to have any fluke mentality, so we should establish the concept of "lifelong prevention of disability."
