Medicine Baby Analysis

Hypertension is divided into spoon-shaped hypertension and non-spoon-shaped hypertension. For most people, systolic blood pressure begins to rise rapidly by 20 to 50 mmHg (mmHg) from early morning, and diastolic blood pressure rises by 10 to 15 mmHg, reaching a peak around noon, or once in the early morning and at 15 o'clock. The blood pressure curve is in the shape of a long-handled spoon with "two peaks and one valley"; while blood pressure begins to decrease at night, reaching a low point during sleep, and decreasing by 10% to 20% from the daytime peak. The curve looks like a large spoon for serving rice, which is called spoon-shaped hypertension. However, the average blood pressure of a small number of patients at night drops less than that during the day, and the blood pressure curve is non-spoon-shaped, which is called non-spoon-shaped hypertension. These two types of hypertensive patients have different medication choices and different medication times. They are suitable for taking medication in the morning or before going to bed. In order to understand the type of blood pressure more accurately, you can go to the hospital for 24-48 hours of blood pressure monitoring.
