Tencent: WeChat monthly active accounts will reach 1.382 billion in Q3 2024, while QQ will only reach 560 million

Tencent Holdings released its third quarter financial report for 2024. In the third quarter, Tencent's revenue was 167.2 billion yuan, an increase of 8% year-on-year, and its net profit was 53.2 billion yuan, an increase of 47% year-on-year. The financial report shows that in the third quarter of this year, WeChat and WECHAT had 1.382 billion monthly active accounts, an increase both year-on-year and month-on-month. It is extremely difficult for such a volume to maintain stable growth. QQ had 562 million monthly active accounts, an increase of 0.7% year-on-year and a decrease of 2% month-on-month.
