Fortune: Top 50 Global Artificial Intelligence Innovators in 2023

Fortune released the first Fortune 50 list of global AI innovators. Baidu was the only Chinese company to be included in the list. Fortune commented that Baidu Wenxin Big Model 4.0 is comparable to OpenAI's ChatGPT in maturity and functionality, and surpasses ChatGPT in many Chinese-specific tasks. The review mentioned that in addition to using machine learning in its search engines, cloud computing and other products, Baidu is also developing autonomous driving algorithms to "provide fully unmanned autonomous driving services on busy streets in Beijing and three other Chinese cities."
