Pew Research Center: Study shows women are more likely to delete friends on social networks

The Pew Research Center released a new study today revealing that about two-thirds of the decisions to delete friends on social networks are made by women, which means that women have clearer boundaries in interpersonal relationships and prefer to "prune" their accounts. 67% of women will delete friends when they do not want to interact with someone, while the proportion of men is only 58%.

In addition, the study also found that young people aged 18-29% are more likely to delete friends than those aged 30-49. Currently, more than half of users (58%) in the SNS world protect their privacy, and women have a stronger sense of self-protection.
