Tremella and cabbage can nourish yin and moisten dryness

In autumn, dryness is the order of the year, and the most notable climate feature of this season is dryness. Tremella and Lotus Seed Soup

Prepare 10g Tremella, 20g fresh lotus seeds, 15 Euryale seeds, and appropriate amount of rock sugar. Soak Tremella in boiling water, wash, tear into small pieces for later use. Wash Euryale seeds and place in warm water. Peel off the green and tender white skins of fresh lotus seeds, cut off both ends, remove the core, boil in boiling water, and soak in clean water (halve the amount of dried lotus seeds, add water and boil for about 10 minutes, remove the core, and soak in clean water). Add water to a pot and bring to a boil, add appropriate amount of rock sugar, add Tremella, Euryale seeds, and core-removed lotus seeds, simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, and serve after cooling.

This medicinal diet has the effects of nourishing yin and moistening the lungs, replenishing qi and strengthening the spleen, clearing away heat and relieving cough. It is suitable for dry cough with little sputum, dry mouth and sore throat, fatigue and poor appetite, loose stools, irritability and insomnia. Healthy people can eat this recipe in early autumn to clear and nourish the lungs and spleen, strengthen their physical fitness, reduce the risk of colds, eliminate fatigue, and increase appetite.

Cabbage and Tofu Casserole

Prepare 200 grams of tofu, 6 slices of cabbage, 2 eggs, vegetable oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, refined salt, oyster sauce, a small amount of shallots and garlic. Wash the cabbage, cut it into large strips, and spread it in the casserole. Cut the tofu into pieces, beat the eggs, and dip each piece of tofu in the egg liquid. Put vegetable oil in the pot, put the tofu cubes coated with egg liquid into the pot and fry until both sides are golden brown. Sauté the shallots and garlic, and add the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, refined salt, and oyster sauce. Pour the soup into the casserole, cover it with a lid, and simmer over high heat for 5 minutes before serving.

This diet can clear the lungs and resolve phlegm, nourish yin and moisten dryness, and moisten the intestines and promote bowel movements.
