"Happiness + Medicine" Health Lecture (21st issue) - Get rid of allergies and live freely: World Allergy Day Health Lecture

On June 28, 2005, WHO, together with allergy agencies of various countries, launched a global initiative to combat allergic diseases and designated July 8 of each year as World Allergy Day.

Allergic diseases are also called allergic diseases. They are caused by the production of specific immunoglobulin E antibodies (IgE) in the patient's blood that are allergic to a certain allergen. Allergic diseases can occur in all age groups from infants to the elderly and have a genetic tendency. Common allergy-related diseases include asthma, rhinitis, allergic eczema, conjunctivitis, food and drug allergies, etc.

On July 5, 2022 (Tuesday) from 14:00 to 15:00 in the afternoon, "Happiness + Medicine, Health Lecture Hall" (21st issue) invited Professor Bao Yixiao, former chairman of the Specialty Branch of the Allergy Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, and Professor Luo Xiaoqun, chairman, to give World Allergy Day health lectures on the themes of "Prevention and Treatment of Children's Allergies" and "Long-term Management of Atopic Dermatitis", respectively, to talk about the prevention, treatment and management of allergic diseases, improve their understanding, and alleviate the troubles of patients with allergic diseases.
