From 0:00 to 24:00 on May 24, Beijing added 41 local confirmed cases (including 4 asymptomatic cases converted to confirmed cases) and 6 asymptomatic cases, with no new suspected cases; no new imported confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic cases. 32 cases were cured and discharged from hospital.

Mentougou District: 3 markets upgraded to higher-level control

At around 9:00 a.m. on May 24, Mentougou District issued a notice stating that it would upgrade the control of Shuangyu Wholesale Market, Xinyuan Market, and Xingshun Farmers’ Market.

The notice stated that in addition to scanning the code and taking the temperature, people entering the market must hold a 24-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate (the health code can show 0 or 1).

The notice stated that except for businesses selling daily necessities such as meat, eggs, aquatic products, vegetables, fruits, rice, noodles, oil, and seasonings that guarantee basic living needs, all other businesses will suspend operations. The city's epidemic prevention and control is at a critical stage. According to the current epidemic prevention and control situation, we need to block the risk of epidemic transmission as soon as possible and strive to achieve the goal of zero social contact in the shortest time. After research and judgment, Daxing District has strictly implemented epidemic prevention and control measures throughout the district. The notice is hereby issued as follows:

1. Standardize the work from home situation. Except for those responsible for epidemic prevention, urban operation, and public service, the attendance rate of units and enterprises in the region shall not exceed 50%, and the number of personnel on duty shall be relatively fixed to minimize the flow of personnel. Personnel who really need to be on duty shall hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours and implement "point-to-point" closed-loop management of family units. For key enterprises, key projects and other units that have already implemented closed-loop management, they can continue to implement it according to the original standards.

2. The unit implements closed-loop management. The district's party and government organs, enterprises, institutions, business buildings, and office spaces implement closed-loop management, strictly implement epidemic prevention measures such as scanning codes for temperature measurement and nucleic acid testing, and prohibit unrelated personnel from entering. People in key risk industries strictly undergo nucleic acid testing at the prescribed frequency. For takeout, express delivery, food delivery and other material delivery personnel, they must hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 24 hours and implement contactless handover. Internal cleaning, security, canteen, maintenance and other service support personnel of the unit strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures and implement closed-loop management.

3. Adhere to the principle of not gathering unless necessary. Except for supermarkets, vegetable stores, catering institutions (only providing take-out services), medical institutions, and pharmacies that guarantee basic living needs, all indoor cultural and entertainment and sports and fitness venues and offline training institutions in the area will suspend operations. District scenic spots and attractions will be closed, and parks will be open at 30% capacity.

4. Strengthen epidemic prevention management in villages and communities. The village (community) strictly guards the checkpoints 24 hours a day, fully implements the entry and exit management of personnel and vehicles, temperature measurement and code scanning, and verification of negative nucleic acid test certificates within 48 hours. Outsiders (including express delivery and takeout) are prohibited from entering. People who work in the areas where the city has announced the implementation of home office and live in our district should take the initiative to report to their villages (communities), obey the management of the villages (communities), strengthen health monitoring, and implement testing and screening requirements. During the home office period, insist on not moving unless necessary, do not gather, do not visit, do not travel, and do not gather in groups.

5. Strengthen the sense of responsibility for epidemic prevention.
