Oral ulcers are not terrible, but recurrence is troublesome

People who work hard have a heart for eating. What can stop people who work hard from eating?

It's the mouth ulcer that comes and goes quickly.

Although there is a small dot growing in a certain part of the mouth, its power is huge. It is enough to make you lose your appetite and sleep.

When you have ulcers on your tongue, not only eating, drinking, but even the slightest movement will cause excruciating pain on the tip of your tongue.

So, you can only try to press the mouth ulcer on your tongue close to your gums to try to protect it from irritation.

The biggest difficulty is sleeping.

When I finally found the feeling and was about to fall asleep, the tip of my tongue drooped down, and the electric shock-like pain quickly pulled me out of my sleepy state.

Wow, this stuff is much more refreshing than milk tea or coffee.

Because of the ulcers in the mouth, it may take three times as long as usual to eat one-third of the usual amount of food.

I adhere to the principle of not opening my mouth if possible, and try to avoid drinking water and talking. I can't fall asleep even when lying down at night because of the pain. Only by being busy can I temporarily forget the pain.

Some people experience recurring oral ulcers, which is called recurrent oral ulcers. Recurrent oral ulcers are a chronic inflammatory ulcerative disease of the oral mucosa.

The typical symptoms are single or multiple painful erosions or ulcers on the lips, tongue tip, tongue edge, cheeks, etc., characterized by recurrent, spontaneous burning pain and aggravated by irritation pain.

Modern medicine believes that recurrent oral ulcers are related to diseases or symptoms such as immunity, genetics, and gastric ulcers.

Some patients show immunodeficiency or autoimmune reaction; some patients have a clear family genetic tendency to the disease. About 40% of patients with oral ulcers have a family history of oral ulcers.

Studies have shown that 30%-48% of patients with oral ulcers have digestive tract diseases, such as abdominal distension, diarrhea or constipation, and more than 9% of them have digestive tract ulcers.

Oral ulcers are also closely related to lifestyle habits. Picky eating, indigestion, excessive fatigue, and high work pressure also have an impact on the incidence of oral ulcers.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that excluding other disease factors, most oral ulcers are related to "getting angry".

One is heart fire, and patients often have excessive thoughts and are mentally excited.

The second is the fire in the spleen and stomach. Patients often like to eat fatty, sweet, greasy and spicy foods, which leads to heat accumulation in the spleen and stomach and causes mouth ulcers.

The third is liver fire. Patients often become irritable and develop mouth ulcers before and after menstruation and menopause.

The fourth is Yin fire. Patients often stay up all night, frequently drink coffee, strong tea and other spicy foods, which damage the kidney yin, cause Yin fire to rush up, and cause constant mouth ulcers.

Patients who are often troubled by oral ulcers should have heard of some medicines that can resolve oral ulcers.

Puhuang is one of them. This medicine has a therapeutic effect on almost any oral ulcer caused by any cause. Puhuang has the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, promoting blood circulation and stopping bleeding, and astringing and promoting tissue regeneration.

In terms of the use of drugs, iodine tablets, metronidazole buccal tablets, chlorhexidine gargle, etc. can also provide some relief. The main function is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, thereby reducing the feeling of pain and discomfort, and is suitable for recurrent and herpetic ulcers.

The second is the oral ulcer patch, whose main function is to block stimulation and is more effective for single, small-area oral ulcer wounds.

Of course, all medications must be taken according to doctor's orders and the advice of specialists.

Chinese patent medicines such as Xigua Shuang, Bingpeng San, and Qingdai San have the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, reducing swelling and relieving pain, and dispersing wind-heat. I believe these medicines have been a must-have in everyone's home since childhood.

As for folk remedies that claim to cure oral ulcers, most of them have no scientific basis. It may just be that the disease heals itself, which makes people mistakenly believe that they are responsible.

For example, taking large doses of vitamins.
