According to the official website of the National Medical Products Administration, the National Medical Products Administration recently issued an announcement to cancel the registration certificates of 8 types of drugs including Pediatric Phenylbutamol Granules.

The announcement pointed out that according to Article 83 of the "Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant regulations, the State Drug Administration organized post-marketing evaluation of eight varieties, including children's phenol aminocaproic acid granules, aminopyrine non-caffeine tablets, compound aminopyrine theophylline tablets, phenol aminocaproic acid capsules, aminocaproic acid tablets, butylbenzal cream, children's compound aspirin tablets, and aminopyrine non-caffeine tablets.

After evaluation, the State Food and Drug Administration decided to stop the production, sales and use of the above 8 varieties in my country from now on and cancel the drug registration certificates.

Products that have been put on the market are the responsibility of the drug marketing authorization holder to recall them, and the recalled products are destroyed under the supervision of the provincial-level drug supervision and administration department of the location where the products are located, or other harmless treatment measures are taken in accordance with the law.

In addition, the National Medical Products Administration also recently issued the "Announcement on the Cancellation of 34 Drug Registration Certificates Including Mercurochrome Solution (No. 132 of 2021)".

The "Announcement" cancelled 34 drug registration certificates, including mercurochrome solution, among which "Aspirin Tablets" was on the cancellation list.

Analgin tablets can be regarded as a "magic medicine for reducing fever" in the impression of several generations. However, due to the serious adverse reactions of Analgin, it has been banned in many countries.

Analgin is a pyrazolone antipyretic analgesic, and its main ingredients are "aminopyrine and sodium sulfite". Studies have shown that the side effects caused by the clinical application of Analgin are mainly reflected in multiple aspects:

1. Blood: It can cause agranulocytosis, with an incidence of about 1.1%. It has an acute onset and is fatal in severe cases. It can also cause autoimmune hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenic purpura, aplastic anemia, etc.

2. Skin: It can cause allergic manifestations such as urticaria and exudative erythema. In severe cases, it can cause exfoliative dermatitis and epidermolysis.

3. Local reaction: There may be redness, swelling and pain at the injection site, which will subside after a few days; some patients will have symptoms of septicemia, subcutaneous hemorrhages, or purple-black pus, which often take several months to heal;

4. Anaphylactic shock: allergic rash or drug fever, urticaria, severe cases may have exfoliative dermatitis, epidermolysis bullosa and even death. In some cases, anaphylactic shock may occur, even leading to death.

Analgin was previously widely used in my country, but in recent years, my country has repeatedly introduced policies to restrict the use of analgin products.
