Reasons for menstruation returning six months after menopause

After menopause, women enter the old age from the age of being able to bear children. The ovaries have begun to stop producing eggs and the body no longer produces estrogen. Generally, women will no longer have menstruation after menopause. However, some people do not have menstruation within half a year, but have menstruation after half a year. What kind of phenomenon is this?

(1) Some people often take hormone drugs, such as Premarin, or certain health products to prevent or alleviate menopausal syndrome. Some of these products may cause vaginal bleeding if used improperly.

(2) After menopause, the ovaries of women no longer produce eggs, but they do not have no follicles. Occasionally, there are residual follicles that may develop when stimulated in some way, causing vaginal bleeding.

(3) After menopause, due to the lack of estrogen, the uterus and the endometrium shrink, and some postmenopausal women may develop atrophic endometritis. It is reported that 60% to 80% of postmenopausal vaginal bleeding is caused by atrophic endometritis;

(4) Some women had an IUD inserted during their childbearing years and have not been able to remove it since they are now menopausal. As a result, vaginal bleeding occurs due to the shrinkage of the uterus and the support of the IUD in the uterine cavity.

(5) Postmenopausal vaginal bleeding may occur if there are endometrial polyps growing in the uterine cavity, endometrial adenocarcinoma, or cervical cancer.

During menstruation, we must pay attention to menstrual hygiene habits. Diet during menstruation is very important. It is best not to eat too cold food during menstruation, do not eat popsicles or ice cream, and do not drink anything chilled. Do not smoke or drink, and maintain a good mentality.
