When to take cuttings of figs

For cuttings in summer, semi-lignified green branches can be used for cuttings. Roots will take shape about 1 month after cuttings. They can be transplanted after 1 year of cultivation. Cuttings can also be stored in wet sand for 1 month, and then cut after callus tissue is formed.

Growth habits of figs
