Can you stay up late playing with your phone without hurting your eyes?

In addition, compared to mobile phone eye protection, the human eye has long had its own eye protection mode.

The human cornea can block ultraviolet radiation (UVB) of 280-315nm, and the lens can block ultraviolet radiation (UVA) of 315-380nm. The "blue army" that finally breaks through the siege and reaches the retina is only 1%~15% of 400 nm~460 nm and 40%~65% of 460 nm~500 nm of blue-violet radiation. This set of effects crushes the eye protection mode.

According to data from eMarket, Chinese adults spent more than 3.1 hours a day looking at their phones in 2021, an increase of 14.6% from 2020. What overburdens the eyes of modern young people is the visual fatigue caused by staying up late to play with their phones, which the eye protection mode cannot solve.

If you are inseparable from your phone, it is recommended to adjust the screen to a suitable brightness, maintain a suitable posture and distance, take a 20-second break every 20 minutes, massage the eye area with your hands, and rotate your eyeballs. These methods can give your tense eyes a break.

When it's late at night again, you turn off your phone and open your bloodshot and slightly painful eyes, you may understand that the novelty and excitement of the virtual world is far less healing than the new leaves outside the window after the rain, and overloaded eyes are far from being saved by a simple eye protection mode.

The real eye protection mode is still what my mother nags: play less with your phone and go out more!
