However, if it is a wild crocodile that is a protected animal, such as the Yangtze alligator, it is a national first-class protected animal and hunting is strictly prohibited.

According to my country's Criminal Law, anyone who illegally hunts or kills precious and endangered wild animals under state protection shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention and shall also be fined.
