Food is the most important thing in life. The daily necessities of life are closely related to food. However, many people often eat some "heavy-tasting" food, thinking that it is more enjoyable to eat. However, eating "heavy-tasting" food often is not good for human health and can easily have many effects on the body.

Heavy salt

Salt is an indispensable food for the human body. The chlorine, sodium and other elements it contains play a great role in maintaining the functions of the human nerves, muscles and heart. If you like to eat salty food and like to add more salt when cooking, you should pay attention from now on. The main component of table salt is sodium chloride, and sodium accounts for nearly 40%. Excessive sodium intake can lead to a variety of health problems.

Hypertension. Eating too much salt is a direct factor leading to hypertension, and hypertension is the culprit of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, and stroke.

Damage to the stomach. Gastric diseases are closely related to poor diet. High-salt foods can damage the gastric mucosa and cause gastritis or gastric ulcers.

Liver and kidney diseases. Sodium is mainly excreted from the body through the kidneys, and eating too much salt will increase the metabolic burden on the liver and kidneys.

Damage to the brain. Studies have found that too much salt in the daily diet can accelerate cognitive deterioration and lead to memory loss.

Heavy Sweet

People are born with a preference for sweets. Some people cannot give up their love for sugar even if they have tooth decay. However, consuming too much high-sugar food will not only affect our oral health, but also cause harm to the body.

Diabetes. One study found that for every 150 calories a person consumed per day that came from sugar, their risk of developing diabetes increased by 1.1%.

Increase blood vessel pressure and induce heart disease. In addition to disrupting cholesterol, sugar can also cause blood vessels to constrict and increase blood vessel pressure. Coronary blood vessels are particularly thin, and any narrowing can have serious consequences and may induce heart disease.

Leading to fatty liver. Fructose accelerates the rate at which liver cells store fat. Long-term high-sugar diet causes fat to accumulate around the liver like small balls, which is a precursor to "non-alcoholic fatty liver disease."

Induce headaches. When you eat too much sugar, the body needs to react quickly to cope with it. The blood sugar level will suddenly reach a peak and then fall into a trough. This change may cause headaches.

Accelerate skin aging. Sugar in the blood will attach to proteins, and the resulting "advanced glycation products" will not only destroy collagen, elastin and other protein fibers, causing wrinkles or sagging on the skin, but will also render the body's "natural antioxidant" enzymes ineffective, making them unable to withstand external damage such as ultraviolet rays.

Very spicy

Many people like spicy food, and some even say that they cannot live without it. As a seasoning, chili peppers not only enhance flavor, but can also lower blood lipids, strengthen the stomach, and prevent gallstones. However, eating too much spicy food can have the opposite effect.

Easy to get angry. Peppers are hot and spicy, and eating too much spicy food can cause people to get angry, which can manifest as skin acne, mouth sores, toothache and bleeding, etc.

Cause taste loss. Peppers are particularly irritating to the oral mucosa and taste buds, and excessive stimulation may even cause taste loss.

Easy to get stomach problems. The alkaline components of peppers can directly stimulate the gastric mucosa and ulcer surface, aggravate the congestion and dilation of local blood vessels in the stomach, and sometimes cause stomach pain and gastric bleeding. If you eat too much spicy food for a long time, it can cause chronic gastritis and affect the intestinal absorption of nutrients.

Causes abdominal pain and diarrhea. The irritating ingredients contained in peppers are very irritating to the gastrointestinal mucosa after entering the stomach and intestines. The accelerated gastrointestinal motility will cause abdominal pain and diarrhea.

Good and reasonable eating habits can make the body grow and develop healthily; bad eating habits will lead to the disorder of normal physiological functions of the human body and cause infection. Let us eat light food and enjoy a healthy life.
