The time points for spraying urea on wheat are mainly concentrated after the jointing stage, the flowering stage and the grain filling stage. In the seedling stage, it can be added in appropriate amounts according to the growth of wheat. Because wheat plants grow relatively high in these two stages, it is difficult to apply fertilizer manually, so spraying urea aqueous solution when spraying "one spray and three preventions" or spraying urea alone can greatly help improve the quality and yield of wheat.

When spraying urea on wheat, it is obvious that it directly acts on the part of the wheat stem and leaves where the roots emerge from the soil. Therefore, it is necessary to make a distinction. The urea applied as base fertilizer acts on the growth and germination of wheat; the urea applied as topdressing during the growth period first acts on the roots of wheat, and after being absorbed by the roots, it is transmitted to the entire wheat plant for growth.
