What to check before pregnancy

The best time to have a pre-pregnancy check-up is usually 3 to 6 months before pregnancy. It is best for women to check 3 to 7 days after the end of menstruation and not have sex after menstruation. It is best for men to abstain from sex for 2 to 3 days. The female examination items include urinary system examination, including female secretion examination, gynecological examination, and reproductive immunity. You can also perform cervical screening to see if there are any factors that make pregnancy unsuitable. The four eugenics items include rubella virus, herpes simplex virus infection, rubella virus and toxoplasmosis. In addition, there are regular checks on liver and kidney function and routine blood and urine tests. Blood pressure and electrocardiogram tests are also required. In addition, there are examinations for oral cavity, thyroid cyst, endocrine, ABO hemolysis and chromosomal abnormality, as well as examinations for hepatitis C, HIV and syphilis.

Before pregnancy, you can do a basic pre-pregnancy physical examination, which generally includes blood test, urine test, coagulation function, liver and kidney function, liver function test, pre-injection complete set, thyroxine, TORCH. Women with irregular menstrual cycles can also do six hormone tests, as well as infertility antigens. In addition, B-ultrasound of the uterine adnexae, routine examination of leucorrhea, cervical TCT and HPV examination, and chlamydia and mycoplasma infection should also be performed. Generally, if the test results are abnormal, it is recommended to undergo treatment first and then prepare for pregnancy.

Basic pregnancy checkups can be carried out before pregnancy, such as: routine blood tests, coagulation function tests, ten immunity tests, liver and kidney function, blood sugar levels, blood sugar, ten eugenics tests, thyroid hormone and other blood tests to check whether there are medical diseases; gynecological B-ultrasound to check whether the uterus and adnexa are normal; if normal menstruation is irregular, it is recommended to check six sex hormones to find out whether there is endocrine imbalance; if you have been married and living together without taking any contraceptive measures for more than one year without getting pregnant, it is recommended to do angiography to check whether the fallopian tubes on both sides are smooth.

If a woman is planning to get pregnant and is taking medication, or has underlying diseases such as high blood pressure or diabetes before pregnancy, she must go to the hospital outpatient clinic for regular checkups and consultations on relevant issues. You can go to the hospital for a check-up if you are not pregnant. However, some tests cannot be done after you become pregnant, such as lung CT scan to rule out lung diseases. Since many people get lung cancer, lung CT scan is basically required. Chest X-rays are taboo after pregnancy. Routine blood tests are done to rule out anemia, and thalassemia is checked south of the Yangtze River. There are also routine urine tests and infectious disease checks to rule out AIDS, syphilis and hepatitis B. If you are in the infectious or active period, you need further treatment and liver and kidney function tests. You may have liver disease but don't treat it or check it. If the pregnancy gets worse, it will be inconvenient for the child.
