In daily life, it is okay to wash with a watch and rinse it with a small amount of cold water, and there will be no water seepage. However, taking a bath or swimming with a watch will cause water to enter the watch. Generally, the waterproof level is divided into nine levels, among which the highest level standard is that it can be immersed in water for a long time under a certain pressure, which is life waterproof. Building waterproofing refers to the waterproof degree of a building, which is generally divided into two types: underground engineering and roofing engineering. The waterproof level of underground engineering is divided into four levels. Level one means that water seepage is not allowed, level two means that water leakage is not allowed, level three means that there are a small number of water leakage points, and level four means that there are water leakage points. The waterproof level can be divided into nine levels, namely level 0, level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4, level 5, level 6, level 7, and level 8. Among them, level 0 means no protection, level 5 means no harm when rinsed with water, and level 8 means that it can be immersed in water for a long time under a certain pressure. How to waterproof the bathroom

To waterproof the bathroom, you must first remodel the water and electricity circuits. After the renovation is completed, use cement mortar to level the ground. Then apply the waterproof coating evenly on the ground, and the thickness of the coating should be controlled to be above 1.6 mm. After laying the waterproof coating and completing the closed water test for one week, you can lay another layer of cement mortar as a protective layer for the waterproof coating.

Before waterproofing the bathroom, you must first renovate the bathroom's water and electricity circuits. After the renovation is completed, you can then process the bathroom's base, that is, clean up the remaining decorative materials and keep the floor clean. Finally, use cement mortar to level the floor to avoid water leakage when laying waterproof coatings.

The waterproof coating should be applied evenly, and the thickness of the coating is recommended to be controlled at more than 1.6 mm. Be careful not to miss dead corners, wall joints, etc. If you want to achieve a better waterproof effect, you can also lay two layers of waterproof coating, but the second layer of coating can only be applied after the first layer of coating is completely dry.

One week after laying the waterproof coating and completing the water-tightness test, a layer of waterproof film will generally form on the surface of the waterproof coating. At this time, a layer of cement mortar can be laid on top of the coating. This layer of cement mortar can protect the waterproof coating and will make it more convenient for laying tiles later.

First, apply a layer of waterproof material on the wall and the floor. The material must meet the waterproof requirements. After the material is dry, apply the waterproof material for the second time, and then lay the protective layer. Finally, cover every corner and test it with water a few times.

Generally speaking, waterproofing in the bathroom is particularly important. During the waterproofing of the bathroom, the main thing is to first brush a layer of waterproof material. It is best to keep the bathroom dry before construction. At the same time, the waterproof material should cover every corner and be firmly combined with the base layer. At the same time, the material should also meet the requirements.

After applying the first coat of waterproof paint, you can apply the second coat of waterproof material, but there must be a certain transition period in between. It is best to wait until the first coat of material is completely dry before applying the second coat. This will make the bonding stronger and help increase the waterproof properties of the material. Otherwise, a short time will easily affect the results.

After applying the second coat of paint, you can lay the protective layer. At the same time, in order to avoid damaging the protective layer during construction, you can lay it on the waterproof material. At the same time, the protective layer must cover every corner without any omissions. Then put some water in for testing.

Before waterproofing the bathroom, the base must be processed to meet the requirements of waterproofing construction. Make sure that the base is flat, smooth, solid, dust-free, clean, greasy, wax-free, etc. If the base has defects such as pores, unevenness, and cracks, first use cement mortar to repair and smooth it, and use plastic strips to paste the expansion joints. The corners of the wall should also be painted into an arc shape, and there should be no clear water on the base, but a certain humidity should be maintained. When doing ground base waterproofing construction, you must first prepare the paint according to the instructions of the waterproof paint, and then choose to use a brush, roller brush, etc. to directly apply the paint on the base. Pay attention to the uniform use of the brushing force and do not miss any spots. First focus on brushing the floor drain, water pipes, and joint wall seams, and after they are completely dry, brush other parts on a large scale. The paint should be applied at least twice, and the thickness of each application should not exceed 1 mm. The second coat of paint should be applied after the previous paint is slightly dry. The second coat can be applied after it is almost no longer sticky. The two coats should be applied in two vertical cross directions to avoid missing any paint. The waterproofing construction on the facade, that is, the wall, should pay attention to the position and height of the waterproofing. Generally, the wall can be painted to a height of about 30 cm. For the walls around the shower area, it should be painted to a height of 180 cm, or the entire wall can be painted directly. The wall waterproofing at the bathtub position should be 30 cm higher than the bathtub. After the two coats are dry, check whether there are cracks, bubbles, etc. on the surface.
