How to treat pelvic effusion during lactation? It turns out there are three ways

The onset of pelvic effusion is mostly caused by infection and pelvic and abdominal surgery. Therefore, women who have undergone cesarean section are particularly susceptible to pelvic effusion. So how should breastfeeding women be treated when they have symptoms of pelvic effusion? In fact, there are three methods. The first is to exercise regularly to strengthen your physical fitness.

1. General treatment of pelvic effusion

The so-called general treatment is that the patient must first eliminate worries about pelvic effusion and not be too nervous, which will aggravate the development of the disease. He must strengthen his confidence in treatment, ensure comprehensive nutritional intake, exercise regularly, strengthen his body, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and improve the body's resistance.

2. Treatment of pelvic effusion with traditional Chinese medicine

There are two main types of Chinese medicine treatments: oral and external. Chinese herbal prescriptions are mainly intended to clear away heat and dampness, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Their composition is as follows: Salvia miltiorrhiza, red peony root, costus root, peach kernel, honeysuckle, dandelion, Poria cocos, moutan bark, and raw rehmannia. For external application of plasters such as black plaster, apply two patches each time, one below the navel and the other on the lower back. Before using the medicine, wipe the corresponding application area with ginger.

3. Pelvic effusion treatment physical therapy

Common physical therapies include shortwave, ultrashort wave, wax therapy, etc. Physical therapy can play a benign warm stimulation role, which is beneficial to promote local blood circulation in the pelvis, improve metabolism, and help absorb and subside inflammation. Patients with small foci of infection that repeatedly cause inflammation may consider surgical treatment, which can reduce the recurrence rate of the disease.

In addition to the above treatments for pelvic effusion, you should also pay great attention to personal hygiene during treatment, especially during menstruation and postpartum period, change underwear or sanitary napkins frequently, and refrain from sexual intercourse during menstruation; keep the perineum clean and dry, wash the vulva with warm water every night, do not use your hands to wash the vagina, and it is not recommended to use a douche to wash the vagina, so as to avoid infection; pay attention to keeping warm, prevent the invasion of wind and cold, and avoid excessive fatigue; eat a light diet, eat more nutritious foods such as lean pork, duck, eggs, tofu, red beans, spinach, peach kernels, fruit danpi, etc., and avoid eating raw, cold, spicy, warm, greasy, cold, and irritating foods, such as cold drinks, peppers, mutton, dog meat, snails, pickled and cured products, etc.; pay attention to drinking plenty of water; maintain an optimistic attitude towards life, avoid mental tension and depression, which are more likely to cause various other diseases.
