Why do pregnant women always have nosebleeds?

The area where pregnant women usually have nosebleeds is the Nissl area, which is located directly below the center of the nose and is mainly the vascular mucosal area. During pregnancy, the growth hormone in pregnant women's bodies is unbalanced and increases rapidly, so the mucous membrane in the Nissl area is prone to swelling and cracking. So what is the reason for nosebleeds in pregnant women?

1. Estrogen problem: The biggest reason for pregnant women to have nosebleeds is the estrogen caused by pregnancy. This type of estrogen can cause serious irritation to the body's blood vessels, followed by severe dilation, especially in the late pregnancy, the body's hormone response is greater, so nosebleeds are more common. The blood flow of pregnant women is still higher than that of ordinary people. Therefore, the blood vessel walls inside the nostrils cannot withstand the sudden increase in blood, so nosebleeds will occur, and even wiping a runny nose can cause nosebleeds.

2. Nostril problems: Pregnant women need to pay attention to nosebleeds. Generally, there is a problem inside the nostrils. If the nosebleed stops after a little bleeding, it means that only the blood vessels are irritated and there is no big problem. However, habitual nosebleeds are physiological. That indicates that there is a disease inside the nostrils, common ones include rhinitis, nasal cancer, etc. Inspection and identification should be carried out promptly. In addition to symptoms, the problem of the nostrils is caused by external stimulation, such as being hit by a car or something. As long as the bones of the bridge of the nose are fine, then nosebleeds are not a big problem.

3. Disease problems: Diseases inside the nostrils can cause nosebleeds, and diseases of the human body can also cause nosebleeds. The body of a pregnant woman is actually more sensitive than that of an ordinary person. After all, the fetus cannot be subjected to any stimulation. Even if the body is unwell, it depends entirely on its own immune system to slowly recover. If the pregnant woman's body is unhealthy, she is likely to suffer from malnutrition and other diseases, and the nosebleed will continue to bleed.
